We already knew it, but now it's official. Pittsfield, Vermont is one of 14 communities added to the Scenic Route 100 byway. Each town is centered around its historic village. Here in Pittsfield we have a traditional village green with the gazebo, liberty pole, town hall and the old two room school house (now converted to house the town offices and library.)
The new farmers have arrives, and we look forward to better than ever fresh produce! Fresh, locally produced Vermont food, what could be better?
The Green Mountain Feast: 6 eggs, 6 pieces of bacon, a double order of toast, a double order of home fries, 6 pancakes, and 2 french toast. If you can eat it all in 30 minutes 1t's free. Today Thomas & Jake took it on. Sorry guys. Better luck next time.
We are so excited to welcome Becca & Joe - who are moving here with their two gorgeous babies...to run the farm at Amee.
Look forward to "farm to table" dinners at Amee Farm in the meadows and barn, "family farm weekends," and lots of fresh produce. We were so captivated by the sweet and friendly goats, that we neglected to get any photos of Becca and Joe. But we promise they are real, they have just arrived, and they are lovely people.
